Well, just completed the update.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!

Ran the program, it analysed the phone for a bit, then said "card found" and that was that.

This happened back in february with the previous update. so instead of hanging on the telephone for ages with a OCS divvy who does not know what's going on i tried another machine. Which, after installing acticesynch, did the update.

However, as a result of the crash it's basically done a full hard reset. ! i've got everything backed up but i'm not best pleased about having to re-install ia album and all-explorer. really these updates are a nightmare.

Not sure what your moaning about, it was advertised from the outset that it would reset the phone to a basic out of the box state. O are release some app next week that will back up all your stuff on the phone, but I guess they rushed out the update on it's own as people were moaning so much that it hadn't been released.

I was moaning about orange releasing an update that totally arsed up the phone.

fixed it now and unlocked also.
