Strange Caller ID Issues

OK - I did the 1.6.1 SPV Update the other day - all lovely jubbly. Then I thought that with a clean phone it would be nice to properly reformat all my contacts (using Paul's Outlook tools) so that they were all in the right format (the majority already were but there were a few that I had been lazy with when inputting numbers on the phone).

Now weird things have started happening with caller IDs. I get the caller ID of the person when I receive an incoming call. However, when I make an outgoing call I just get the number displayed even if I have selected the contact by name until I hang up - and only then is the name of the contact displayed.

Now, I could be being really stupid - I've got a cold so I'm not quite with it but this is really confusing me. I'm even starting to doubt whether it ever displayed the names of contacts on outgoing calls but I'm sure it did.

Anyway all my numbers are stored in the +44XXXXXXXXXX format. (no brackets no spaces)

Anyone got any ideas??
