just one comment:

can't you edit the sound file, so it can go into an infinite loop, instead of just fading in the end ?

btw: have you tried listning to the badger for more than ½ an hour ?? .. omg - I'm such a mushroom !

and doesn't the phonecall drop to answerphone after 30secs of ringing?

So it shouldn't need to loop.

....Unless you have the answerphone off.

Mind you - i'd hang up after 30secs without answer.
