Guest D-rated Posted December 12, 2003 Report Posted December 12, 2003 Well, I finally got it. Ordered the MPX-200 from Amazon, got an unlock code, took it up to T-Mo and got on their network. I've just barely scratched the surface of the phone's capabilities. Got it synced up with my Outlook at work. Got the Internet working. Installed a few apps, etc. Customization comes next, need to remove all the AT&T references, customize ringtones, themes, etc. All in all this looks, finally, like the one device I can take anywhere I go and feel 'connected' . . . contacts, calendar, internet, etc. Thanks to all the posters who provided me with the information to get this great device and taking full advantage of it. These forums are great.
Guest D-rated Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 just posting from my phone for the hell of it. this mobile site is top notch. Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest paridah Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 How much did it cost since you did'nt activate it with AT&T ordered mine from CS for 145.00 and why T-Mobile
Guest D-rated Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 well i think i will miss out on the rebates so the phone will cost me 170. i went with t-mo because their coverage is better here than AT&T. I haven't had any trouble getting a signal at all, whereas AT&T is spotty at best. $5 unlimited internet is a nice bonus, also.
Guest paridah Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 I ordered mine sat. and got it today I love this phone can't compete with the ulimeted internet. but my siginal is great. thanks at&t plus got a 120.00 service credit and 100.00 rebate for adding 2 lines to my account merged two accounts in to one. I may roll back my firmware to support 900 I EXPECT TO TRAVEL TO Italy soon on travel.
