Guest Terrapin Posted December 12, 2003 Report Posted December 12, 2003 I've had a search through the forums for anything related to voice notes on the e200 but havent had any joy finding anything relevant. I tried recording some voice notes at a concert i was at last night but when i play them back in the Voice Notes software no sound can be heard at all. The recordings seem to play back okay (the counter counts the time correctly) but no sound comes out of the speaker. Is this a known bug? In the end i found the recordings using Smart Explorer and tried playing them with that (i think it loaded the IA album software) and lo and behold the recordings played - so they've recorded okay. Anyone know a fix for the Voice Notes software or whether it's a "feature"?
Guest jason8 Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 I get the same problem sometimes on my e200 when taking videos, the sound doesn't play back sometimes. I have to go into the task manager, shut IA Album down, restarting it and hey presto. Its a bit annoying. I dont know if anything can be done about it til the e200 software update is released. :(I get the same problem sometimes on my e200 when taking videos, the sound doesn't play back sometimes. Guest Terrapin Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 hmm... okay, i checked the volume etc and it was all set up okay but nothing could be heard when playing through the voice notes software but it worked fine through IA album. After a bit of fiddling with the active folder and speaker volume in IA album (not Voice Notes) the notes now play okay in Voice Notes. Maybe a bit of random fiddling will help with the video playback. i still have no idea why its suddenly started working.
