Guest pradaboy Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 Found this great article on MSmobiles today... I hope it is no BS: http://msmobiles.com/news.php/1799.html I will be waiting for it
Guest mike-oh Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 Yes! Holding the upgrade off for a little while longer.
Guest mutleyboy Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 1st half of 2004 could be anything from january to end of june! Plus as we know, release dates often get put back so i will not be holding out for this upgrade, i will keep my mpx200 for now and then get the upgrade when it comes out- who knows we could be waiting another 6-7 months for it anyway and i will not put off getting another phone just to wait. If you do that, by the time it is released there will have been something even better announced and you will end up waiting to upgrade to that instead- and the cycle goes on and on
Guest mike-oh Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 true, but i need something to wipe the smug grin off all my friends who are upgrading. I could upgrade now and get a good phone, or hold out and get a GREAT phone! I want/need a smartphone, clamshell, integrated camera and b.t. would be nice. This would have it all!
Guest morpheus2702 Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 Come on guys, I would hardly call that a 'great' article. It has about as much hard fact in it as we know already - i.e. not a lot! And 10Mb memory - what's that all about? All they need to do is take the V500 design, squeeze what we want into it (WM2003, camera, BT, 200MHz chip) et voila - MPx220. That Moto V design is damned fine!
Guest rogerbates Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 I know this is slightly off topic but does the MPX200 accept MMC cards as well as SD cards? I am assuming that if the MPX200 does then the MPX220 will too. Holding out for a MPX220 but if it doesn't accept MMC cards may have to reconsider.

I'm 99.99% sure that all SD card slots also accept MMC cards, it's the other way round thats incompatible (SD cards don't work in MMC-only slots) I wouldn't worry about it  why the fuss over MMC cards anyway? they only go up to 128mb and slower than SD cards...
Guest actionj Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 After what has happened with Half-Life II PC game, I don't count on any release dates because imagine if you wait to get an mpx220 until like march and then they announce that they won't be ready until june? What do you do then? You have to jump in some time because the next *big* thing will always be around the corner
