Problems with Remote Display Control (it's working... a bit)

Hi, please help if you can.

I'm running Remote Display Control on my PC to connect to my MPx200 which is running fine.

Now some people on the forums have been showing off that they have hacked the phone-side app and made the over sized screens fit on the smartphone screen, very clever, but they won't let anyone know how they did it.

Basically, when I go to the settings section and attempt to alter the update value in m/s I can't. The back button won't delete the value of 100 and I can't overwrite it.

Now annoyingly, when I do run it, if I open the Remote Display Control dialogue again (running it twice which is not good) and I use my PC to control my phone, I can use the delete button to delete the value of 100 and enter a new one, but this is no good as the original Remote Display Control app is already running with 100m/s update refresh rate.

Is there an update for this app to fix this or can I do something to the app myself.

Any help gratefully accepted.

There is a newer version of remote display and it isn't even necessary to install or initiate any program on the phone!! Search on this site or in the MS downloads site for power toys and you'll find it...

I have installed the new version from the Microsoft site (my old version was from Monolithix) and yes, it runs on it's own without a phone side app. I un-installed the old one.

One problem is that there appears to be no way of altering the settings like the update in m/s or the host name etc...

When you connect if you are quick enough you can just see the over sized splash screen and connct screen on the phone, but the automatic connect oviously deals with these itself and they close very quickly.

Any ideas for altering settings?

Command line arguments to the tool seem the best bet, but it's not reponding to the usual /h /? or -h -? switches to list usage. It might not actually have any, or they might just not be documented. As MS would be your best bet!
