e200 n00b asking silly questions.....

..... first of all im a n00b at smartphones :oops: . I have been looking around the forum for info on where to put a ringtone once i have created one. I tried to put it in the /storage/ dir but when i go to 'start -> settings -> sounds' the file doesnt appear in the list of ring tones avalable. what am i doing wrong?? i have a couple of ringtones fromn this forum so i knoew the files are in the right format, bit rate etc.

Someone plz help cos the default tones are shocking :!: :!:

you put them in StorageApplication DataSounds :wink:

chris i think you mean IPSM/Application Data/Sounds..........

silent bob if you havent got a sounds folder in your application data folder then just create a new folder called Sounds make sure the s is in upper case

On the E200 it IS StorageApplication DataSounds and the folder will already exist :lol:
