Guest blewer Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 On my E200 I just checked orange updates and there seem to be 2 new apps. -Contact Wiz -Orange E-mail wiz Check em out
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted December 13, 2003 Report Posted December 13, 2003 They were initially on the 1.6 update (in the testing period) not sure why they were dropped though :? Thy are apps designed to help you set up your contacts and email.
Guest morpheus2702 Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 Downloading them both, and neither are anything amazing. Contact Wiz seems to be some IR synching between phones for SIM/Phone contacts E-mail Wiz just (tries) to fill in the e-mail options for you - but made a real hash of setting up my Freeserve mail.
Guest phdutton Posted December 14, 2003 Report Posted December 14, 2003 Ahh, that contact wiz is there now then!! It's in the instruction manual that came with the E200. when I got it I wanted to use that to transfer the contacts off my old phone, but it was mysteriously missing from where the manual said it should be in the menus!! Really annoying as I couldn't remember my log-in details for 'Orange Backup'. (Got it sussed in the end, but it would have been much easier with that 'Contacts Wiz')
Guest coreymcl Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 When I searched it tells me all my software is upto date. So it does not show me those downloads. Mybe it has something to do with the fact that I am using a SPV-E200 developers edition phone in the USA.

Guest m1.carson Posted December 16, 2003 Report Posted December 16, 2003 Orange EmailWiz The mail wizard made a mess of three E100's e-mail setup, it set them to orangemail.ch, we all had to re-enter the origional setup info. You get a mail back from orange after running it saying:- congrats you are now set up to send and recieve emails and to access your favorite websites when you are on the go,it then goes on to give you tips to get the most out of your wireless email. i.e. send mail in batches, compose offline, download headers only, download only todays mail, alter your settings so you only download the latest unread mails, don't reply with the origional mail content, the less info you send the faster the service.it then say's ENJOY.we did, we enjoyed the next half hour trying to remember our origional settings, servers, usernames and passwords etc.
