A Little Water...

My phone got a little wet last night, not that badly but it has messed it up completely  .

The backlight doesnt come on, typing a text is nieh on impossible because the letters type themself and when I try and delete it just types the letter "w" again and again!:? The battery dies after and hour or less + gets extremely hot and last night it was going mad!

Made crackling sounds at me, flashed on and off and generally was being a pain in the arse.

Ok so to my question/s lol. I have Orange Care so would they replace the headset due to this or would they tell me to F off because its my own fault? And, has anyone else had this problem due to rain? Im sure I read somewhere that someone dropped theres in the bath and when it dried out it worked :-k

Help appreciated

If you do not want to claim on Care , remove the battery and place the

phone in a warm place for a few days. (idealy you should have done this before trying to start the phone up)

If it's getting that hot what you are doing is shorting the battery, so that means you still have moisture inside the phone to cause it.

i'm not familiar with what orange care is.but if you're talking about warranty, that wont be covered because it's your fault.that's physical damage.but if orange care is an insurance by nature, then mikey is right.your phone should be taken care of.
