can you play midis on mpx200?

i have tried to convert the midi format to mid0, but the music seems a bit jumpy and freezes all of a sudden.

is there any midi players for the mpx200?

Have been having problems with midi's myself. Every midi i try to put on the phone doesn't play. Maybe becuse they're all to long, so i need to cut them down but don't have the software to do it! Any ideas?

They won't play unless they are in midi0 format, look on www.midconverter.com for a shareware converter program. Long midi files do give problems though as they take ages to load making them a bit useless for a ringtone.

i tried to convert an midi to wav using the Windows Sound Recorder (Start Menu->Accessories->Entertainment) and it seems to be of poor quality. I tried midiconverter, but it only allows 6 midis before registration. Any easier way?

so whats a reasonable sized wav file that will work good as a ring tone? and at what size will a wave call cause problems being a ring tone?

The six files before registration is only for block conversions, just do whatever files you have six at a time or register to remove the limitation.
