Guest Shaks Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 Hi I am currently making a homescreen with background images in most of the plugins (on top of the main background image). What I have found however is that I can't seem to use images with transparency properly. Gifs with transparencies change the transparency to white. One plugin on which transparency works is Richie M's Alarm Plugin in which white colors are converted to transparency. If I can get something like this to work on other plugins it would be brilliant. I noticed on the other screens (volume, info, exclamation screens) the pink color is transparent however this does not work on the homescreen unfortunately. Does anyone know how to make this work. Shaks
Guest ultimasnake Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 maybe png works? :S... most of the time an itemd doesnt have transparancy , but an fake image that (of the background) with an transparent looking picture drawn on it and then saved as one file
Guest ChrisJM Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 i thing u do a colour and make that the transparenty thing
Guest scott2eyes Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 Has anyone figured this one out yet? I've found that the Orange icon plugin sets anything in white in the bgimage (in the plugin) to transparent, and the background image is then visible through the transparent parts. I've trying to put together a homescreen where all the plugins do the same thing with a background visible behind it, but I can't figure out how.
Guest ChrisJM Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 well, your best bet is to use pink then make that transparent by using: Transparent=#Colour code
Guest nedge2k Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 isnt there a command like mask_colour #FFFFFF?
