Hiya.

Just got a SPV e200  really impressed so far!

couple of questions...

I dont use windows on my home pc. Is there any activsync software for linux?

Are there any "gnome" style home pages been created? Ive seen the mac version and it looks very nice! does it work fine with the e200?

Also is there any ssh clients that will work with the e200 over GPRS? Id like to be able to console into my home servers.

Regards

What I do is transfer the file over to the phone using ActiveSync. Then using Smart Explorer (on the phone - not sure if E200 comes with it), navigate to the cab file and click on it. It should then install.

you can beam it over ir? does your linux distro have that facility? or do you have the hardware?

Look for ppc linux apps.. something might be there!

Another sollution to getting apps onto your phone is to get a USB SD card reader, which should work without needing drivers on Linux - then you can copy a .cab onto the memory card, bung it in the phone, then install (but ofc this won't let you sync your addressbook/calendar/etc)
