Guest Skitals Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 I really hate this kind of advertising. Really. It just makes you, your product, and your "company" look bad.
Guest nickcornaglia Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 Sadly Blatent isnt it? Next time contact Paul or a Mod and we'll put you up in the news. Is it a Microsoft Smartphone Application?
Guest midnight Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 oh, and one other thing.... football management games are hardly revolutionary
Guest Skitals Posted December 18, 2003 Report Posted December 18, 2003 I actually sympathize for this dude. I have run many websites in my day and its a little rough in the beginning when you are trying to get things going. The BEST way to get traffic is make the news on other websites. You would have gotten 10 fold the amount of traffic if your "revolutionary software" was posted as news on this and other SP sites like encece suggested. You also wouldnt have turned yourself into a joke. Watch your servers though... I once made news on The Register, The Inquirer, Slashdot, and a ton of community sites like this one in the same day and my server was swamped  Actually the server didnt hiccup once, but I thought it was a glitch when I first saw there were 500+ people on forums at one time  Haha, those were the days.
