AAARGH!! DOWNLOADING NOW!!!!

btw i have an spve200 .. will reports how it works etc

might be nice to fix the first screen where you state which version it is etc etc by adding a little bit of text like Loading now....

bugs found :

When going into options > then pressed video got :

Draw_TransPic: Bad coordinates error

No jump key?

Besides that it works great for an beta.. faster then the one made by midnight(correct me if i am wrong). looks nice too..... :lol:.... keep up the good work

Please mirror it on your website if you wish.

I also got screenshots.

There isn't much to it at the moment, but If I get good feedback and support, I might consider dedicating my hollyday vacation for a full-time SPV Quake development.

Just added it to the News page and Beta software catagory ... there is an Download url on the site that you can use as Download mirror on your site to if needed. Mind keeping me Up to date of new version through pm's?

I guess I didn't *really* think that it would work with the original SPV, and I was right (certainly on mine anyway). It loads for awhile and then resets the phone. Never mind, someday I shall have a newer SPV :lol:

It "worked" on my original spv... but it took ages to load (like several minutes) and didn't run very well after that.

Not surprising though.

Currently this is just a port to make it work on the SPV.

On my SPV e100 with the screen reduced at the minimum you can move around at a decent speed.

I will continue to work on this to optimize it as much as my time allows it.

(I have a small gamedevelopment company on which I must focus ... to make a living :lol: ).

If I get some good suport and some (small donations maybe) I will put in more then just my spare time.

I am still waiting for some feedback from the new generation smartphones with a faster CPU.

well as i told already it runs "decent" on an e200 :lol: loading is long.. but if you might take an example from the one by midnight (which loads faster) it might be a bit faster

There is a lot more work that needs to be done.

This is more of a : proof of concept ... to show that quake is able to run on a SPV :lol:

God I wish Tomb Raider was open-source ... then the SPV would blow the n-gage off.

A week ago a girl advertised me the n-gage in a shop as she saw that I was into mobile phones.

I pulled out my SPV (they are not available in my country) ... all she could say was : WOOW.. cool phone :D

I've tried it on my E200 with full version of quake.

Loading time is ok...

Sound ok...

Speed game is more or less good when you're in rooms (external area are slow )

Is is possible to shut down sound to increase speed of the game?

I've E200 with 4way joystick and I want to know if we can change controls (actually strafe with left right pad and turn with 4 and 6).

What's the differense between yours and Muffs?

I get the following error "Not enough memory free, check disk space"

Is it the IPSM memory?

Not IPSM ... system memory.

Kill any applications that you have running in the background to free up some memory.

I have tried it on the original spv and it loads quick enough. About 30 seconds from execution of quake to loading the map. I am using the pak file uncompressed though.

Does the save option not work. I get an error: "COULDN'T OPEN"

Save/Load ... does not work ... yet.

erm dont want to alarm you but i get an invailed archive error in winzip.

Are you going to upload a new zip that works?

i am wondering if you turn of the sound in the settings . is it really turned of then or just at 0% volume :S
