Phone ring tone volume changes to very quiet

Recommended Posts

I have recently been experiencing my handset for no apparent reason dropping the ring tone volume level so its barely audible. The phone is in normal mode.

I use the roll up keyboard quite a lot and have also ben trying to find a useable bluetooth headset, tried nokia (which kept switching itself off) and motorola which often refuses to switch to headset mode when making or receiveing a call. am going to try jabbra next.

I can only return to volume level to what it should be by rebooting the phone !

Anybody else experienced this ring tone issue ?

I had this using the Fonix voice recognition demo software. All sounds would intermittently go VERY quiet. A quick reboot temporarily cures it.

I use the roll up keyboard and have found that after 20-30 keystrokes the sounds go very faint.

I wonder if there is any incompatability that Orange are not aware of?

Have this with Fonix all the time. So much so I'm deciding whether to uninstall it.

I've only had my SPV-e200 for a few days. Bought a Bluetooth headset today and have been testing it by phoning my mobile from my landline. After a few "calls" guess what - suddenly the volume of the ring tone dropped to almost inaudible. Switched the phone off/on again to reset and everything back to normal. Haven't been able to recreate since.

And whilst I'm having a rant - slightly off topic here - my phone's speaker also "buzzes".

Dare say I'll find out lots more of these bugs as I go on...

Grrrrr! :x
