Advice on how to sell an SPV

Hi Guys,

This is not an offer for sale, I have not decided to sell yet. But I have just upgrade to an E200 for £79 via Orange Retentions.

My question is really about SIM un-locking my SPV. I have seen somewhere on here that there is a utility for doing a SIM unlock. I have never sold a mobile before (normally sold back to Orange on upgrade) is it worth getting my phone SIM unlocked before I sell it? The woman on Orange CS said that the car phone warehouse can SIM unlock an SPV for £10 - is that right?

What do you think a brand new SPV (replaced on Orange Car two weeks ago) would be worth?

The woman from CS said that they will be sending a new SIM, does that mean I have to destroy the old one? It no good for anything is it?

Sorry if these questions are a bit stupid, any advise would be helpful

Just click on Sim unlock in your post to learn about sim unlocking (free). If you've upgraded to 1.6 I've read on here it's not possible to retreive the Sim Unlock Code.

The old SIM will be deactivated when the new one is activated. I throw mine away (however it does state in the T&Cs that the SIM remains the property of O), they've never asked for them back.

Not quite sure how much a SPV would be worth?

Check Ebay for the current going rates. I'd say at least £100, maybe more as it's brand new. Be sure to emphasise that fact when you come to sell it.
