Guest Hamilogre Posted December 19, 2003 Report Posted December 19, 2003 I got my Mpx200 about a week ago, and i've been reading all the stuff on this board. I'm wondering what are the standard things that people do with their phones software and hardware wise? As far as what size SD card and what software is essential. And i'm with ATT, so is there any reason for me to unlock it? I am a newbie so i need to know where to get started. Thanks
Guest benjconrad Posted December 19, 2003 Report Posted December 19, 2003 I don't think that you will have to application unlock your phone to install software - the test is whether you can install any or not. As for what I use my phone for, making calls I guess is the main one. Playing MP3's is another, and I prefer Pocket MVP rather than Media Player. The size of the media card you want depends mainly on what you can afford, and how much you listen to music on your phone. I'm stuck with a 64Mb one until christmas, but 256Mb are becoming affordable. I consider Smart Explorer to be essential software, although that may be because my phone didn't have one supplied. Other than that the stuff I have installed, and use reguarly are games and themes. Mainly the freeware games at the moment. It all depends what you do with your phone though. I hope this helps
