Guest FrankyG Posted December 19, 2003 Report Posted December 19, 2003 Hey Guys, I got my MPx200 from onestopphoneshop a month ago, but it's just developed a fault. It's the buzzing noise when the backlight is on. I took a walk into the local Orange shop to see what their reaction was, and within a couple of minutes they had agreed it was faulty and would provide a replacement. They gave me a Fault code (5 character code) and if I had my receipt on me, would have replaced it then and there! Question is, does it matter that I didn't actually buy the phone from the shop? Can they deal with it for me, which means I get a replacement phone tomorrow? I would normally go via onestopphoneshop, but due to Christmas post and that I'm going away on holiday next week I don't think they'll be able to resolve this quickly enough. Thanks for your insights....
Guest Coucou Posted December 19, 2003 Report Posted December 19, 2003 The retailer is your normal first contact on this sort of thing (ie Onestopphoneshop) but call customer services 150 and ask for a warranty replacement, they might be able to sort it :lol: Think i'm right in saying that, but don't take my word as gospel!

Yeah, I thought so, although the same Orange shop took my busted SPV off my hands and got me a new one the following day...and I didn't even buy the SPV from them (I didn't tell them that though!) So maybe I was lucky the first time :wink: Anyhoo...it's on it's way back to onestopshop and I should have a new one Monday or Tues...not too bad I suppose.
