Can't delete from AppMgr directory

I have installed several apps for my SPV E200 but upon finding out the were crap i removed them using the remove apps function. Problem is there are numerous folders in the AppMgr directory which hold .tmp files. When i try and delete these .tmp files using active sync or smart explorer i get access denied.

Any ideas I'm a newbie to the world of SPV
