Guest neilg Posted December 18, 2002 Report Posted December 18, 2002 excuse my ignorance but can you use MMC as well as SD in the SPV then?
Guest neilg Posted December 18, 2002 Report Posted December 18, 2002 thx....now if I can just get my CF card out of the slot......... :D :( :(
Guest spacemonkey Posted December 18, 2002 Report Posted December 18, 2002 thx....now if I can just get my CF card out of the slot......... :( :P  Try applying some butter or WD40 oil to the CF card to lubricate it's exit from the slot. A sturdy pair of needlenose pliers and a hammer may also help :D :(
Guest chewie Posted December 18, 2002 Report Posted December 18, 2002 get em off ebay, i paid just under £90 for 256mb :D
Guest Scoobyroo Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 Hi guys I have just ordered my SPV and am looking forward to it be delivered in the next few days. I'm finaly replacing my aging Nokia 7110, which I've held on to for so long as it's the only handset that had a decent Outlook sync function... up until now I hope :D Anyway, I have a question, forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere but i can't find any details. What is the difference between an SD card and an MMC card? Cheers
Guest Scoobyroo Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 It's ok, I found a link about it here... http://wfcontracting.com/spvfaq/index.php gonna go check it out now. Cheers
Guest casper508 Posted December 20, 2002 Report Posted December 20, 2002 Ebay rocks!! 128 Mb MMC for 45 quid with free shipping!!
Guest mjhinch Posted March 25, 2003 Report Posted March 25, 2003 ValueFlash have Sandisk 256Mb SD for £58.99 + Vat - anyone bought from these guys?
Guest the.dude Posted March 25, 2003 Report Posted March 25, 2003 I have just ordered mine from Ebay. 256Mb - £54 including delivery.
Guest Coolboy1982 Posted March 25, 2003 Report Posted March 25, 2003 well, if we are reviving this month old thread, here's my contribution: mine's from ebay, cost me 90 pound for 256 a few months ago, but included a free SandiskCruzer USB card reader that fits into every pocket and copies files a lot faster than the sync cable
Guest hex Posted March 25, 2003 Report Posted March 25, 2003 Pretty good price here. I've used them and they deliver fast. http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/default.ph...777_4_401_40105
Guest tomesy Posted March 25, 2003 Report Posted March 25, 2003 Anyone ventured into the brave new world of 512Mb yet - if so, how much and where from? Thanx.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 25, 2003 Report Posted March 25, 2003 Look in the for sale section, there is one for sale for £170
Guest Gunslinger Posted March 25, 2003 Report Posted March 25, 2003 Ebay is the best place for Sandisk SD card. I bought last week a 256MB SD card off ebay for £56. This price includes postage from the states to uk. Ordered on Tuesday and arrived on Friday Morning. Cant get better.
Guest ajb3000 Posted March 25, 2003 Report Posted March 25, 2003 I bought a 256MB Sandisk from Valueflash for £80.12 (said £80.11 on website, grrr... lol).
Guest yatpeak Posted March 26, 2003 Report Posted March 26, 2003 excuse my ignorance but can you use MMC as well as SD in the SPV then? YOu can, but not all work, so if you already have one, try it, but if you don't, buy an SD. Wyatt
Guest westy1507 Posted March 26, 2003 Report Posted March 26, 2003 I bought a few of these Superb, found that the spv, (as reported elsewhere on here), really doesn't get on with the 512mb ones, so a few of these have done the trick. Only took 3 days from the US too. Excellent. :) Westy
