Battery life., can it be increased? :)

it would be nice with some more battery hours.., I've seen the threat about how to do the trick on an E200., They simply take out their sdCard, and that does it for them., But what about us? i have an original SPV., anybody who knows som powerSaving tricks?

you could try using the Orange 1.61 update it did wonders for me anyways I came from QTEK 1.5 :) Cheers!

Yeap 1.6 works for me as well.

But to add I read somewhere else from someone who works at a battery factory and they actualy recommended charging the phone all the time and giving it the odd complete discharge.

So I modded my cradle and from 9-5 (mon 0 fri) my phone is on charge and I can go all day (sat/sun) and only loose 2 bars. But I dont know exactley how long it lasts though as I cant afford to be without it.

I didn't get that? sometimes you do a complete discharge?., think someone told me never to do so, as it would damage the battery

This will technically not fully discharge the battery, but aberg is correct.

If you fully discharge a lithium-ion battery, due to it's internal citcuitry you can damage it.

Just to let you guys know, been working from home today (using my SPV E100 of course, and talking all the time) and from fully charged to the low battery warning I got four hours of talk time.

Not too bad.
