Hint on how to software unlock the SPV without GPRS

Hi,

If you are like me then you probably got your SPV second hand and you are using it with SIM card without a GPRS account.

I struggled to find the relevant information to unlock the software protection on my SPV. However, there is a link on Orange website explaining how to do it without GPRS.

It was hard to see because most links in the forums seem to imply that you can't do it with GPRS. But you can use Activesync with your home internet connection instead. Great stuff. I wished Orange hadn't had us mock around like this :evil:

Thanks for the links. I managed to SIM Unlock my E100 relatively easily, but wasn't sure what to expect with the app unlock process.

I popped the phone into my cradle, used passthrough and it worked a charm.
