Hi, i have a tv remote control program for my Pocket PC and i was wondering if it would be possible to port it for my MS Smartphone?

You are right it wont die.

It is clear that this is a verry hot area and wont go away.

Clearly there are quite a few differences between the different SmartPhone models and some seem to be faster/more capable than others.

Why dont someone create a verry simple version with just switch off facility post it and then get users to post feedback.

At least if they try it and see what happens on their phone/TV etc it wil stop comming back.

Look i would love an app that acted as a remote control. I have no less than SIX of the dam things cluttering up my floor, being able to control everything from my phone would be great. But there are about 30 threads on the same topic.

Please continue the discussion in one of them!

MONO!!! :)

Here Here,

We all have read the threads saying it wont work, but you know what us blokes are like. We wont beleive it till we try it and if someone does make a full feature one then I would be prepared to pay :) and put up with the low range/accuracy.

Come on guys lets test it then we can either take it to the moon or bury it once and for all.

even if it was possible you'd get bored of it in a few days and just use the normal one. a bit like those silly Tv remote watches that were around a few years ago
