Umm... E-Mule right? 8)

A friend of mine said he had MobileMule for hes Nokia, or indeed I saw it! Then he bragged about the SPV COULDNT DO THAT! Is it right? I have checked the "installer" to MobileMule, and its a Jad and a Jar file, I once had some Javathing on my SPV but it runned extreemly slow so I deleted it again! Is there any way to install Mobile Mule?

BUMP!

I too desire mobile mule for my SPV. AFAIK we can't install the java version on our SPV's. Even if we could, we would need the java runtimes - this would probably run incredibly slow. I love my new SPV E200, but there sure is a *SERIOUS LACK OF QUALITY SOFTWARE*. Everything apart from what is already on the phone seems to only 'kind of' work. Im tired of half-baked software, its time to release the GOODS!

Do you have flat-fee bandwith? i can't even download an mp3 without exceeding my bandwith...

but if the guy with the nokia tells you the "SPV COULDNT DO THAT" just download Doomspv (link found on my site) and the latest exe file... and stick that up his ass.. or download PocketTv and watch an simpsons episode on your phone , and stick that up his ass too :)

not unlimited bandwith, but unlimited traffic, as the bandwith of gprs via gsm, indeed limited :D 20kbps I think., but hey, I knew what you ment, so I might aswell shut up now

E-mule Plus (recommended BTW) has a mobile WAP server you could use to send links to your donkey at home. That would be much better than trashing your battery and GPRS.

You could also set up a password protected webserver on your PC that would allow you to access your downloaded file.

Hmm. New thing for me to play around with, think I'll give it a try.

By the way, try putting E-mule in a post without the hypen. The board changes it into armadillo. Very strange.

I'm happy to see the back of my old Nokia7650 for the SPV but enough of the bashing. Doom on the symbian OS (7650, 3650, 6600 etc.) is currently far better than we have it (open to opinion) although a heavy re-code would probably do it.

most versions of the mule have the web interface built in which basicaly turns your pc into a webserver which would be great but the standard template uses frames and Im no good with HTML

if anyone makes a smartphone friendly template let me know
