answer machine bit wont go away

had an answering machine message heard it but the wee icon in the top wont go away... help me rid my screen of it....

If its on Orange, dial 150 then 1 listen to message then press 3 and WAIT until it says message deleted you have no more........ Failing that leave a message on your phone listen and delete and last turn yr phone off and on again, should do the trick!

The best way is as Du2ty says. But when you have heard the message wait for a few seconds after it says no more messages worth a quick look at the answerphone symbol to make sure it disappears. Problem sorted.

I think it's a con by O to make us all stay on the answer phone longer. How much extra income is it for them???? :)

Err no, dial 123. An alternative / free way of doing it is to ring OCS on 150 and ask them. They can refresh it manually or something
