I just upgraded my fone to version. 1.6..... canary version. 1.10. cant de-certify this version for games. Any help here would be grateful. If not I've already tried to downgrade to version 1.3.5.6 but the fone hangs and wont boot up and I have to re-install version 1.6. HELP!!!! :) :D

The 1.6 update can be decerted using the Orange Developers site.

Been on this site and filled in the page details and heard nothing. The helpline I called said there may be a prob with the site. Anyone had any success here.

Cheers

Filled in the details and heard nothing?

did you see on the site the message about recieving the unlock message?

as this can sometimes take a while to come through.

Also do you have GPRS activated on your phone or did you use passthrough?

I just bought a second hand phone [sPV]a few weeks back and was lost in a maze of software and upgrades. I sucessfully ugraded to the new software , then unlocked the SIM to work with T-Mobile.I thought I was stuck with the De-cert process as I cannot get GPRS and I'm not with Orange. But, with the help from this forum I was able to find and use that little E200.zip file . Just coppied the required files to my SPV , ran the shortcut and hey presto . its Done !. got a load of new proggys on it and did'nt need to connect to Orange. Cheer's guy's.

So does the E200 . zip file work on the earlier SPV with version 1.6 installed???? If so, where do I get it from?

Sorry Mod's , I had no idea that the aforementioned file was ilegal. I was well pleased it worked for me but in future I'll make no reference to it again.
