How can I program a pause into a number being dialled?

Anyone tell me how to do this? - I want to have the phone dial a number, wait about 3 seconds and then dial a series of access numbers.

Its the equivalent of pressing and holding down * on a nokia until the display changes to p

Not quite sure on a e200, but on a SPV, when you edit the number you press the right softkey "menu", then choose insert pause or insert wait.

You might be able to hold down * to change to abc mode and insert p or w manually.

Yep, thats correct. Change to text input mode and insert one or more p characters. then continue with the rest of your number I use this method when using a calling card to call friends in Australia.

Many thanks both - I have a brother in Italy, and since the call charges there were "simplified" its cost me a fortune. Since overseas sms charges have also been unjustifiably increased by 250% I've stopped using them too. - Orange ought to remember that the amount of tax collected increased when the rate was reduced - I think the same is probably true for most things!
