MMS on a 1.6 UK romupdate in Holland.

Hi,

Did a search but could not find the answer.

Does anybody know how to setup the MMS for Holland?

I tried with the orange shop and my self but we can not figure out the problem all the settings seems to be ok.

I use the 1.6 UK orange rom update.

Have you looked in the MMS Settings repository?

Yep, the settings for Orange nl are the bottom of page 5 of the GPRS repository.

Did you get it working ?

If not, what error are you getting ?

I got the settings for the MMS in NL.

Stupid but I did a hard reset again :? and than the same settings in it and it worked :roll:

But I'm happy now :)

Can You tell em The Correct Settings Of Everything For The MMS Then Because I Got My SPV for over a Half year Now And My MMS Have Never Worked.... The Orange Shop Only Say That With The New Rom Upgrade MMS Will Work... :cry:

Well The People I Spoke in The ORange Shop Dont Know Much, i knew More so when i started about the MMS they said it wasn't necesarry and it will work with the new 1.6 update they wouldn't want to do more so ill have to wait for the NL version and then go back to the shop so they will activate it

Hi,

Here is how to get MMS on your dutch SPV with the 1.6 UK rom.

1: Got to settings/Data connection

2: Menu --> edit connections

3: Gprs connection

4: Menu --> add

5: Add: MMS

Connects to: Orange MMS

Acces point: mms

The rest is empty or 0.0.0.0

Done

6: Edit now Orange MMS

7: Connects to: Orange MMS

Accespoint: orangemms

The rest is empty or 0.0.0.0

Done

8: go toprograms --> assesoirs --> MMS Setup

9: Select mms

IP: 10.250.255.183

Port: 9201

Mmsc Address: http://mms.orange.nl:8002

Message Expiry: Max

Leave the rest blank

MMS Download: Auto

That worked for me :)

Exactly As You Said, Well Next Week I'm Going back to the orange shop again say that i have the 1.6 UK so its a update and Just Activate my mms :) maybe they will listen

You did activate it with the client service or in the shop isn't it? :shock:

If not it will never work 8)

They have to activate it for you than you can use your free MMS till 1 Feb 2004. :twisted:

They told me as there are probs with an not NL update they officialy cannot do anything about it.
