Blinking Red LED on cradle , doesn't charge

Yesterday my e200's battery run out so as usual i plugged the e200 into the desktop cradle to charge it up.

Expecting the orange/red led light to show i get a blinking red led light which flashes like morse code and goes faster if i move the joystick down or press any button. With no sign of life at all, just the blinking LED.

on advise of some memebers on the modaco IRC chatroom I have taken the battery out for 30 seconds and reinserted it.

Still no joy.

I dont have the wall charger to charge it up as the wire snapped on the charger.

So the cradle is currently the only way to charge my baby up.

Any one else had this problem, think i should give O a ring?

With the phone powered off will it not charge in the cradle?

it doesn't charge on the cradle as far as i can tell, just the red led blinks when it is on the cradle.

when it is off the cradle it doens't show any signs of life, even when it is on the cradle the only signs of life are the blinking red led.

erm are you connected to a usb hub, if so try connecting directly, or else get a replacement for your broken charger

i've tryed every usb port in all my pcs in my house,, I dont think the cradle is broken, I used it yesterday morning :/
