Please Help me with my Headset.

My SPV has the known headsetprofile problem.

If i take out the headset it stays in the headset profile.

So far so good. Tried all the possibilities.

Blowing really hard in the headset hole,

Toothpick in the hole. Hardreset everything.

Nothing changes

I have sim-unlocked my phone and so i don't have any warranty.

Now my question is. Is it possible for someone to write a programm which can change the headset profile into normal or Silent or whatever.

I know the is a kind of a button insite the phone and if this button is pushed it goes to headset profile, but is there any way to bypass this witha little software change???

That would be a great option.

The headset problem is a hardware problem so software cannot fix this.

But there must be a software-point in the rom that says.

If the button is pushed then go to headset profile.

Or am i mistaking here??

So i belive it is not only a hardware problem, but also a software issue.

It is a physical connection that is either made or broken.

The software identifcation is after this.
