Power button has died...any ideas?!?

Seasons Greetings and all that

The power button on my SPV is now completely non-operational. I have had problems (like most people) with it requiring several attempts before working in the past but it has always worked eventually. Now it has resisted all attempts for 2 days and I am stuck. Before suggesting the obvious of returning it to Orange UK, I am unfortunately travelling for the next 4 months and am currently in Australia. If anyone has any bright ideas about what I can try to get it up and running again that would great.

All I need is to get it turned on once and then I can just leave it on and keep it charged.

Unfortunately if the button has died then it's a hardware fault and needs

to be repaired or replaced. Unless you really want to experiment with

playing with the internals, which I would advise against.
