12 hr v 24hr

I have set in my regional settings the time to a 12 hour clock as i like this best but on my home screen its in 24hr format. is tere anyway to change this to 12 hr ????????

Hi Welcome to the site. :D

You need to edit the xml file that you are using for your homescreen. It'll be in IPSM/Application Data/Home.

Copy it over to your PC using activesync, open it in notepad and hit ctrl+F then put in clock.

When you find that line nearby should be a line saying format="24" change that to 12 and save.

Then just drag the file back over to your phone. Reboot and Roberts your fathers brother.

if anyone can also tell me what a .hme file needs to be placed ill be greatfull, again its somthing to do with the home screen but i dont know where to place it :lol:

I don't think so pal - it takes about 2 nanoseconds to do this in notepad!

.hme files are designed to be installed with the Microsoft Theme Generator. You can DL it from Monolithix.org - then when you right click on a .hme file, you'll see the option of "install to smartphone".

Or even copy the .hme to phone (or storage card) with ActiveSynch and run using SmartExplorer.
