Guest negg Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 I have set in my regional settings the time to a 12 hour clock as i like this best but on my home screen its in 24hr format. is tere anyway to change this to 12 hr ????????
Guest PsychoDave Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Hi Welcome to the site. :D You need to edit the xml file that you are using for your homescreen. It'll be in IPSM/Application Data/Home. Copy it over to your PC using activesync, open it in notepad and hit ctrl+F then put in clock. When you find that line nearby should be a line saying format="24" change that to 12 and save. Then just drag the file back over to your phone. Reboot and Roberts your fathers brother. Hope that makes sense to you if not then I'm sure someone else here can explain it better :) Cheers
Guest ChrisJM Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 well explained PsychoDave
Guest PsychoDave Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Cheers :) The more I read it the less sense it made so I eventually just hit submit and hoped it wasn't a load of old cow poo :D
Guest DMF Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 And nobody can make a small app to do this ?

Guest drblow Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 And nobody can make a small app to do this ? I don't think so pal - it takes about 2 nanoseconds to do this in notepad! @negg - .hme files are designed to be installed with the Microsoft Theme Generator. You can DL it from Monolithix.org - then when you right click on a .hme file, you'll see the option of "install to smartphone".
Guest Disco Stu Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Or even copy the .hme to phone (or storage card) with ActiveSynch and run using SmartExplorer.
