Edit the registry without editing manually?

Is it possible to edit the registry in some simpler way then manually using the register editor?

Like running a file with the settings.

you can get pre configured reg files .reg and .key.. you just run them and they add the contents to the registry automatically

but the only way to "edit" the registry is to do it manually AFAIK

OK, I installed the register editor and exported a part of the registry.

How can easy add the registry backup file to the registry. Clicking the reg file just starts the editor and the import function is grey.

you can write a .inf with the desired settings, pack to a cab file then run it as a tweak.
