Guest blueplanet Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 Is it possible to edit the registry in some simpler way then manually using the register editor? Like running a file with the settings.
Guest HurricaneDave Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 you can get pre configured reg files .reg and .key.. you just run them and they add the contents to the registry automatically but the only way to "edit" the registry is to do it manually AFAIK
Guest blueplanet Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 Please tell me how you do this.
Guest HurricaneDave Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 go here and download phm regedit h**p://www.monolithix.org/SPV_software.html
Guest blueplanet Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 OK, I installed the register editor and exported a part of the registry. How can easy add the registry backup file to the registry. Clicking the reg file just starts the editor and the import function is grey.
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted January 6, 2004 Report Posted January 6, 2004 Is it possible to edit the registry in some simpler way then manually using the register editor? Like running a file with the settings. you can write a .inf with the desired settings, pack to a cab file then run it as a tweak. just like what i did here: http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=101467
