Guest Helix Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 I myself have noticed a pretty hefty red tint on the E200's pictures. I've recently been asked by IAStyle to submit a few pictures taken with the E200 to reveal this red tint on the photos; as IAStyle's software which takes the picture could be responsible for the red tint. If anyone has seen this redness on the pictures that they have taken then please post em under this topic so i can send em to IAStyle. I remember seing somewhere a post with a few pictures showing this problem but i cant seem to find it anywhere!
Guest biffsmash Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 I get the red tint too and it's really nasty. Guess it can be fixed in an art prog but its pretty annoying :/ Also the strange lines accross the photos.. hard to explain but i cant really post photos to show. I've seen it on all sample pics for the e200 ive seen on the net.
Guest matt_hobson Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 Is that in all lights? I get that sometimes in artificial light, if you change the settings (ambience to dim or fluorescent) it should get rid of it. If that doesn't help then let me know Matt
Guest dvl Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 if you look at the camera you see that it is reddish hehe i think it has a little infra red on it or something like that.. when you on the camera it is first reddish. .but after a few seconds it will adjust to normal and be very clear!! btw i think this camera is great.. i have had so many camera phones.. but this one is the mother off all!! hehe the only thing we need now is a flash (e300?)
Guest peekie Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 it has to be software related as i get the red for a few seconds ( only on auto mode) ive got some lovely red rabbit photos, best nag at ia before they are gone to fix it
Guest matt_hobson Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 you get the same on a normal digital camera if you have it on auto. Digital cameras are not very good at adjusting to artificial light by themselves, that is why they give you the options to say what light you are in. Try all of the options and you should find one to work ok
