How to change touch tone length

Im having trouble with my mpx200. When i call any number where you have to enter a numeric menu number i cant access them. The length of the tone on the numbers is not long enough to be picked up by the automated systems on the other end of the call. How can I edit this in the registry? i would need an editor and know how to make the hold length of the number keys longer.
