Guest fred_s Posted December 30, 2003 Report Posted December 30, 2003 Can anyone point me in the right direction to turn off call pick-up (other than a hammer) using the joystick? Cheers
Guest bikespod Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 Try Start-Settings-Phone-Call options-and uncheck the any key answer box. hope that helps and you can put your hammer away.Posted from my SmartPhone!

Guest fred_s Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 This is the crazing thing - that was the way it came out of the box. Checking it and then unchecking it doesn't seem to make any difference!!! The phone says its sending the info to orange but ....... Any other ideas please or is it hammer time again?

Not certain, but I seem to recall reading on here that turning OFF any key answer, will not have any effect on the Action Key/Joystick, but only the other buttons. Which entirely defeats the whole object, as it is the protruding joystick that makes the phone answer the call when in a bag or pocket. Like I said once before, despite the long phone history shown in my signature below, this is the first phone that has regularly 'answered' calls without me knowing. That alone should say it all...
Guest fred_s Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 I'm begining to sense some serious cunning from whoever designed this phone - its a bit like trying to discuss philosophy with Baldric ...
Guest b0x Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 The amount of times NYE i fished my phone out of my pocket only to see i've been connected to a call for a few mins really started to annoy me! As they say, it's hammer time. jon
