Guest AaronJT Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 Hi there, Just a quick question, Ive tried without availe to make all the background colours of all the menus and backdrops to be black and all of the text to be white. I have tried editing the XML myself and using the Microsoft Scheme Generator but I just cant get it working. Could anyone help? Regards Aaron p.s. My appologies if this question has been asked before, I did do a search first honest!
Guest drblow Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 Hello m8 - welcome to the forum! & happy new year, by the way! You can edit all the screen colours to be black, & most text to be white, however, you cannot alter the colour of the alert text, & some of the text within actual applications (which seems to always default to black). So, you can create a monochrome colour scheme but you may run into some areas where you have black text & a black background! If you have a look here you'll see the list of colour names etc, so all you need to do is open the xml file in notepad, & edit the colours to what you want. A good colour chart reference is at webmonkey.com. Hope that helps!
