Guest davidhaslam Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 The power button on my E200 has died. Looks like I have a choice of sending it to Hays Technology Repair Centre to get it repaired under warrenty, or I can pay OCS £30 and take out a years insurance for a further £60. The thing that bothers me is that I wonder how long it will take Hays to turn it around, and also whether they might say its not a warrenty job as it has probably been damaged through dropping it or something (chances are the switch has become detached from the board). Does anyone have any experience in how quickly Hays Technology Repair Centre are turning repairs around? Or whether they are likely to try and charge me for the repair? Maybe I'm better off coughing up the cash to OCS? Thanks, David
Guest bikespod Posted January 1, 2004 Report Posted January 1, 2004 before i knew about modaco and how to do a hard reset hayes fixed my original spv for me. it took them a week to return it to me. they may be busier now and your job is more complicated. give them a ring and ask is your best bet.
