Guest Shane Posted January 2, 2004 Report Posted January 2, 2004 Has anyone got Bluetooth SPV E200 to IPAQ 5540 to work and if so how? Thanks Shane
Guest mattgod69 Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 I have an HP 5450. I spoke to Orange about this because I could not get it to work. Once it was set up, i tried it, the devices saw each other, but the internet access did not work. In fairness, the Orange man said that he thought it did not work at the beginning of the call, but he wanted to try it again. We need to wait for a software update before it will work..............not good i know, but nothing we can do about it other than shout to Ornage!!!!!!
Guest Shane Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Thanks for the reply, is this software update for the Smartphone or the Ipaq, and did Orange give any idea when it may be out? Also, can you sync using bluetooth, exchange files etc or do you use IR for this? Thanks again Shane
Guest mattgod69 Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 I assume the update is for the phone, becuase the Ipaq is working fine I think.......(internet access works without a problem in the cradle or using WiFi etc). They did not give me an idea when the fix would be sorted out. You can I think sync using bluetooth, but what do you want to do.....Activesync via the Ipaq and SPV? I just sync both using a desktop computer and they keep the same that way. IR can be used, but it is painfully slow and the ports must be close together (in my experience). If you manage to get it sorted.......let me know! Cheers. Matt
Guest Shane Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Thanks. I will let you know if I get any luck. Cheers Shane
