Guest goinnuts Posted January 2, 2004 Report Posted January 2, 2004 as far as i know the only phone able run to mophun is the t610
Guest agent.m Posted January 2, 2004 Report Posted January 2, 2004 thanks! its making more sense  emailed mophun guys. just waiting for response. but thats a symbian phone....maybe they got it wrong.
Guest Scarfman007 Posted January 2, 2004 Report Posted January 2, 2004 I thought the T610 wasn't a Symbian phone. AFAIK it runs a proprietary (typo?) OS designed by SE. Scarfman
Guest midnight Posted January 2, 2004 Report Posted January 2, 2004 errr, thats more about gametrac, a windows ce based handheld games console, it is quite possible they'll convert the games engine over to the smartphone, but i dont think its been ported just yet (even though the text does state ms smartphone) :) but who they'll find to use it i have no idea. As far as i can tell, to license it they want a large percentage of the profits. oh, and the mophun engine works on a variety of symbian phones, not just the t610. And dont forget, all the games would have to be recompiled to work on the smartphone, and no doubt small bits of code will need to be changed aswell. cross platform game engines are nothing new really, gapidraw already does this, and also gapidraw allow for free distribution of games (freeware) something mophun do not allow.

Guest exosyphen Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 One thing I can tell you for sure as I am a premier mophun developer. Porting mophun games/software to the Smartphone is pretty easy and straightforward. As long as the dvelopers consider this.
