Guest Fonefanatik Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 :) Just discovered this a minute ago.Now most E200 users will now have realised that when composing a new MMS and selecting 'insert sound'....the only sound files that will show up when u browse are midis(which to my ear sound pretty crap!),and not wavs- however it is possible. Open multimedia album, browse to the folder u want containing wav files. Highlight the one u want, then go to the 'send' option in the menu. Click on 'via email'.Next click MMS in the compose menu....and you'll see your wav file attatched!Just checked this out by sending an MMS to myself and a mate and it works fine,Yay! :D You just need to make sure that the file u send is not to large. 8) The phone in front is an E200! 8)
Guest Simon Desser Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 The standard sound file for MMS messages on all phones is AMR (not wav). This means that not only can the E200 not add/create AMR files, but if you receive an MMS from ANY other phone, the E200 is not capable of playing back the sound  The SPV could, the E100 could, the Motorola MPx200 can, so why can't the E200 :?: (I suspect you'd have problems sending wav files via MMS to lots of other makes and models of phones :?: )
Guest ultimasnake Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 The SPV could, the E100 could, the Motorola MPx200 can, so why can't the E200 os problems apparently?
