SMS-sound during a call on the E200

Hi Uk Forum - just crashing your party...

I have a problem with my E200. Whenever I´m on the phone and a SMS goes in, the sound yells in my ear. I find that pretty anoying!

Can one turn this sound off or at least down? And what about the vibrator?

You should be able to reduce the In-call alert volume or turn it off completely under Programs-Settings-Accessibility :)

And what about the vibrator?

I think it should be under Programs-Settings-Profiles, Menu-Edit active profile :wink:

I was thinking of doing that cos it bugs me on the E100 as well, but won't that then make the call waiting sounds etc.. in-audible? cab't have that :)

It doesn´t - the call waiting sound is intact :)

I´ve just tried Martins advice, and the first part works perfectly!

As for my other problem (the vibrator), I can´t find any other way, than permantly turning off the vibrator for incomming messages.

I can accept that for now, thanks for the help Martin :wink:
