A bit too Nuanced?

Running a Verizon Omnia i920. Nuance will show up when I hold the talk button down, but it does not recognize names. Tried adjusting Sensitivity ("Most Sensitive"), running the "Adaptation", resetting the Adaptation and re-running it, and still fail to get name recognition. Anyone conquered this problem?

It will recognize the commands. One complaint: the "Check" command executes the check requested and then the program exits - it would be nice if the app returned to the main menu and asked again for a command.

I'd settle for the basic call features to work. :(

Wish I could help... it's worked fine for me, including name recognition. Biggest complaint I have is it is veeeeeeeeeeeeery slow to start up -- each time -- it's used, and it has a compatability bug with S2U2 so that it doesn't start if S2U2 has the device locked (not a problem with the samsung lock).

I tried installing MS Voice Command, and had a lot of problems getting it to work reliably over bluetooth. So, we're stuck with Nuance.

Only suggestion I can think of is to do a full backup, hard reset (dvol+lock+both phone buttons -- this will preserve your My Storage), and then see if Nuance is working for you on a completely clean, virgin config. If so, you at least have the option to then rebiuld your configuration, testing along the way, to find out what messed it up.
