r2 = release 2. r4 was a typo. :P

'Main Version Check Failed' - are you on a 1.32 version bBarou? It seems this only works for ROMs 1.31 or below!

P

Since he is french and only one provider sells it. I guess he is like me. So 1.32 yeah.

Mine is rooted.

+1 wifi issued. :P

But I wanna correct two steps.

"using the optical trackball, navigate to the 'BOOTLOADER' and then 'RECOVERY' option on the menu"

For this step. Cannot use the trackball in legend, we still need to use the volume down.

"Select the 'wipe' option, then select the option to apply an update zip from sdcard, and select 'rootedupdate.zip'. "

In 'wipe' option, I can't see any option let me select a zip from sdcard. but 'recovery' level, I see a 'Flash zip from SDCard' option, select it that i can choose the rootupdate.zip to flash the machine.

Hello I have a problem...

sorry for my english Im spanish :P

When I stay on step 2, and I put my device in to recovery mode ( Terminal image and exclamation ), I go to windows an put in terminal step2_windows.bat, it do all but it said to me that one:

"""""""""""""""""""""""""

Legend Root Step 2

Pushing required files to device...

* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *

* daemon started successfully *

error: device not found

error: device not found

Pushing update file to device sdcard - this may take a few minute

error: device not found

error: device not found

Now wipe and apply rootedupdate.zip from the recovery image menu.

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

Allways the same.

auumm... I see now that I have the version on HBOOT 0.043.0001 But I read that in this version I can do that. Its posible? Or I am stupid? :S

Thank u very much.

@Alarde When you see the red exclamation mark, press volume up + power button that should send you to the recovery menu, then apply step2.bat, that's how it worked with me. Hope it helps :P

Paul, do you mind tell us how to package an own Rooted ROM? So many people like me live in Asia want the Rooted ROM support the Asian Language.

If this request makes you uncomfortable, ignore it please. :P
