I installed N13 in the morning. I have "APN on" and "check for new E-Mails 1 time per hour".

My phone is 11h 50 minutes on and I lost 39% power (100% -> 61%)

Here is the battery usage report:

Android system 77%

Mobile standby 12%

Telephone inactive 7%

Android OS 3%

Display 2%

Is there anythin else I can post to help the devs?

Until we get a fix for the end of call bug I've found an app in the market called On Call End in which you can specify that the app forces the phone to a specified screen after a call, with different settings for incoming and outgoing. This seems to have cured the situation, for me at least.

I also flashed the tweak with the new boot.img last night and saw the worst overnight drain (35%) I've experienced since starting with these CM7s, so perhaps the delayed N13/RC2 is the result of some last minute changes - certainly hope so!

Thanks for this. "On Call End" from market works fine for me. Much better temporary fix than Shake It Free.

Set it to go home screen after incoming and outgoing calls.

Hmmm. I flashed Nightly 13 earlier today and battery drain seems to be much the same as previously. No apparent improvement there.

However, I just phoned a landline and the screen came back on straight away after the call. Previously, it either wouldn't come back on at all after calls to landlines or I had to faff around covering and uncovering the proximity sensor before I could manage to end the call and get the screen operational.

Just a sample of one call but hopefully that is an indication that the proximity problem is much improved!

Hopefully the clever devs can work out why the idle battery life is so poor and then the ROM will be almost perfect!

That is VERY, VERY Interesting. It's not a Blade Issue at all, it's am Android Issue. No wonder it's in every CM7 Nightly, as we're all on 2.3(I suppose the .2/.3 difference doesn't matter, as the nexus one never had .2 officially to test it.)

Perhaps the infinitely quicker CM7 devs can get something out on this.

Perhaps reassuring to note that in the CM7 forums for other phones (eg Nexus S) people are complaining of similar phenomena with N13 (and presumably with earlier iterations)

Misery loves company :(

Games are supported...

You need to move some of them back onto your phone from the SD.

Just checking, but it was Nightly 13 you installed and not an earlier version (perhaps RC1)?

Have to admit I don't really follow the problem you're having - when I've installed the later nightlies (8 or thereabouts) I didn't do a full wipe and I'm pretty sure there was always a black rectangular screen that flashed up inviting me to download all the google apps (including market)

If this hasn't appeared then (or if, more likely, it appeared and you dismissed it til later) I suggest you use Titanium backup to defrost Market Apps Installer 1.0 - soon after you will be offered the apps again - by this point you will hopefully have your wifi connected and will be able to get them all automagically

If none of this makes sense then:

1 Check you installed N13 not RC1 - if you installed RC1, then install N13 instead

if that doesn't work

2 Restore your JJ backup

My good friend the first post has made it abundantly clear that you should have Clockwork 3.0.0.6 . You can get it on the first page of this thread. :(

@ootyposoo

Also somebody replied to one of your own earlier posts that exact point

Please do try to read the posts - particularly the answers to your own questions! :(

Otherwise it really might be best if you just revert to your backup of JJ

Set it to go home screen after incoming and outgoing calls.

Just flashed N13 + installed "On Call End" (+ set to "go to home" after call).

Tested:

a. called from other phone

b. accepted call with ZTE Blade and held phone on ear

c. waited a few secords until screen when dark

d. hung up other phone

Result: --> Blade screen stayed black (even with "On Call End"...)

Did I miss anything?

what helped to unlock screen: call again from other phone, let it ring once on Blade then hang up on other phone...
