This is completely of topic bat its really interesting to reed especially for developers as it address real problems from first hand! Just to add that the freedreno drivers for Adreno 2xx drivers are final & that they are developed more then six months ago!

Another good news is that the development of new Open GL ABI is coming in finale stage & that we can expect it soon! They will enable the usage of more then one binary driver at the same time & better management & faster access times to driver(s).

any news about the GPU drivers ? we're still stuck with the 4.1 ones ... I have problems seeing the color emoji fonts in apps and games.

There is only destinations between generation of GPUs by series & series should represent EGL version 2xx & 3xx bat Qualcomm did a lot of rebranding so Adreno 303 is actually slightly reworked 203 still only EGL 2.0 capable.

Drivers that are available on Qualcomms developer web site are all in one site & signed by corresponding master for what they are meant (master release of Android including needed kernel infrastructure). I think that secund JB release is still the last one available...
