Guest little pea Posted January 21, 2014 Report Share Posted January 21, 2014 Hi ive installed essential v2 with pure performance x and celsteal kernal so logicly it shud speed up my y300 but when i load games not big power hungry 3d games just fmh2014 it takes ages to load yet when i just flash essential v2 on it own with out any tweaks or kernal flashing the rom seems abit quicker without mods Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Set the Io scheduler to deadline & cash size for SD partitions to 512 Kb (128 Kb default / 256 Kb in Ceastles kernel) this should significantly improve read - load times. Going over 512 Kb is not recommended as it will degrade performance on writing & R/W of small files as logical block size is 512. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
