Not many people have this gadget, thus no reply so far. Mine is in the mail, should be here, any day now. Once I get it, I will check and then post a message here...

Patients is a virtue, no? Then again, having said that I could not wait for my contract to end, so what did I do...

Mine is also on the way. I'll post any inspirations that are delivered along with it

If you're talking about the round, blue and grey desk desktop charger, the clock is surrounded by a blue rubber retaining ring. The clock can be levered out with a small screwdriver. You'll find the adjuster at the three o'clock position.

Cheers, that's the info I was looking for - was going to lever it out but didn't want to force anything - at least now I know it's OK

thanks again

Ok, got mine today, in it's ORIGINAL Motorola packaging, and it works great. There was some paper work and parts hidden in the back part of the box...

Yes, you remove the gray platic covering, and pull the clock out, then correct it, just like using a watch. There is even a platic piece that you can add to help balance the MPx. Pretty cool...

According to Amazon's site: Either SPN4940, SPN4716 or Aftermarket AC Adapter required for use, is sold separately.

Do I have to purchase a separate AC adapter?

Also, does this charger need to be plugged into my PC if I don't want to sync my data?

Thanks for any info.

You can either plug the travel charger into the base or the USB cable and use that to charge and synch.

Just think about the charger as a stand alone. It can be used to charge and synch at the same time, or JUST charge, i.e. not connected to the PC! The only thing that does not work, (I've not tested this, been told) is charging a SECOND battery in the back cradle...

I'd like some info on that. I see sites stating it does, but read from users it won't.
