Does anybody out there know how to hack the registry to use the camera button to turn the device on and off instead of the red button?

We can always start the camera program from the menu.

The red button is a real pain, every time I put the device in it’s case I turn it on, and when I try to hang up a telephone call I turn it off!  :oops:

I'd imagine the power on/off button is hard wired into the standby circuit or at least hardcoded in the ROM.

I had a similar issue with another phone and found that the position of the phone in the case made a difference. If I look at my case from the side the bottom is wider than the top. So place the red button at the bottom of the case.
